Daysh House Garden

Daysh House Garden is a two hectare property set against a backdrop of the Tararua mountain range, near Carterton. Daysh House Garden features a lake, parkland, perennial beds, shrubberies and a native tree walkway.

Built in the mid 1860's on one of Carterton's original dairy farms, Daysh House is a heritage resource identified by the New Zealand Historic Places Trust. Daysh House was occupied for most of its history by the Daysh family, after whom the property has been named.
