Built over 100 years ago, the Martinborough Golf Club has an established course with mature trees, well kept greens and undulating fairways. It's a full 18 hole, par 72 course, 5,546 metres in length.
The most challenging holes are 3 and 12 with narrow fairways that run parallel to the road. Many a golf ball ends up in the neighbouring vineyards from a wayward swing. And many a player has disappeared into the vines supposedly looking for their ball. Yeah, right!
After your round, have a drink and bite to eat at the club - you'll get a warm welcome.
