We can't wait till 'Harvest' - in 2018 it will be on Saturday March 10th.
Vineyards pair up with regional restaurants and produce outstanding local festival dishes. You can sample wines from not only the larger, better known wineries but also from some of the smaller boutique wineries in the region. You'll even get the opportunity to meet the wine makers from the vineyards involved. Festival goers can relax under the old trees listening to live music.
The festival is held at a beautiful, sheltered riverside setting locally known as ‘The Cliffs' on the banks of the Ruamahunga River at the end of Dakins Road in rural Wairarapa. The site is close to Masterton and Carterton. Festival goers can come via train from Wellington and use one of the many shuttle buses to get to the festival - it's all part of a great day out.
TICKETS HAVE SOLD OUT.
Tranzit Coachlines are providing buses from all around the Wairarapa.
The buses will also connect with the Wellington trains at the Carterton Railway Station.
