121 Festival

Featuring a top tier line-up of international, emerging and heritage musicians and artists across multiple stages playing house, techno, dub, roots, soul, funk, rock and hip hop over three days from Friday 10 - Sunday 12 March 2023.

Over 40 international and national musicians and artists will take you on a journey of carefully curated art, music, and culture across six world-class stages including euphoric disco, thumping bass in a concrete tunnel, the sultry sounds of live music, and an unforgettable headline set.

The stunning venue at Tauherenikau makes 121 Festival an incredible experience, set among ancient Kahikatea trees and a range of buildings including vintage grandstand, concrete bunkers and 1920s ballrooms.

Some of the headline acts are Anetha, Bradley Zero, Babe Rainbow, FJAAK, Lord Echo (live), LSDXOXO, Kettama, Peach, Overmono (live) and Avantdale Bowling Club. Check out the full programme here.

You can also indulge in the finest coffee, delectable kai, locally sourced craft beer, wine and cocktails, as well as re-align with yoga, or refresh with some vintage retail therapy.
