The Runholder

The Runholder is the new home for Te Kairanga and Martinborough Vineyards, two of the region's pioneering wineries, and Lighthouse Gin, NZ's oldest craft gin.

Boasting a restaurant, tasting room, cellar door and gin distillery overlooking Martinborough's rolling hills and vineyards, The Runholder is the place to enjoy Wairarapa's exquisite food, fine wine and original gin only 5 minutes drive or 10 minutes pedal from Martinborough Square.

Taste iconic wines from Te Kairanga and Martinborough Vineyard wineries with a wine tasting flight, share an aged bottle from the cellar, feast on local Wairarapa produce created by Head Chef Tim Smith that perfectly complements the wines and gin, or relax with Lighthouse Gin cocktails and watch distiller Rachel Hall craft her next batch.

Check out their mouth watering menu here.

With a separate VIP room, The Runholder can also be booked for private parties and functions like your next birthday or special occasion. Enquire here.
