Truckstop Greytown

What was once an overgrown back section with a big puddle and a few carparks has become a place for the community and visitors to Greytown to meet, eat and connect. Truckstop, a pop-up family gathering space for dining and entertainment opened behind the Blackwell and Sons Workshop at 102 Main Street, in December 2021 running through the summer of 2022.

Conceived by local businessman Adam Blackwell, it quickly took off with a great blend of local families, super-fans coming every week and tourists all sitting down and sharing food, drinks and music together in a very happy informal atmosphere.

The surprise key success factor was the Zero Alcohol Bar, Unleaded with a wide range of interesting non-alcoholic drinks. This matched with frequent live music and a diverse line up of foodtrucks offering affordable tasty food, was a recipe for success.
