Visa Wellington On a Plate
Burger Wellington is back on for 4 weeks, until Sunday 3 October. Check out all the local burgers you can try at Wairarapa restaurants and cafes from our handy list here. 

Wairarapa Farmers Market Annual Plant Market 
Saturday 25 September, 9am - 1pm
Purchase your spring plants from the wide range of stall holders. Special activities for the kids. Lots of food stalls including a Hangi. To order a Hangi contact: foresthome@wise.net.nz or Lyn 027 356 6592.

Longbush Cottage Tulip Festival
Sat 25 & Sun 26 September, 10am - 4pm
See thousands of magnificent tulips flowering en masse in this modern cottage garden, comprising a series of rooms each with complementing theme radiating out from a classic 19th century cottage. The Festival is all set to go under Level 2 with zones and all safety management in place. Pots of tulips will be for sale, along with cottage garden plants. Purchase your ticket at the gate $10 each. Cash only. Learn more on their Facebook page.
The tulips will be wonderful right through October until approximately Labour Weekend 24th October. To visit the garden outside of the Tulip Festival weekend simply call first and make a booking.

Mangatainoka Motors Hot Rod Day
Sunday 26 September, 9.30am – 4pm
Hot Rod Day is one of the most visually spectacular Toki events, with amazing classic vehicles lovingly restored and modified to an impeccable level.

Cobblestones Country Fair - Family fun day
Sunday 10 October 11am - 3pm
Experience spring in the country - meet baby animals, try old fashioned games, enjoy real Devonshire teas, try some old time crafts, and shop at stalls selling country craft products. Entry by donation.

Mangatainoka Motors Ford v Holden Day
Sunday 10 October, 9.30am – 4pm
Spectators can witness the fierce devotion of Holden and Ford car owners who will go head to head to battle it out for the top prize.

Masterton Motorplex - The Ultimate Street Car Showdown
Sunday 10 October, racing starts 10am
Dad will love this one-day event at the drags, originally planned for Father's Day.

Opaki Spring Fling at Le Grá Vineyard
Sunday 17 October 10am - 2.30pm
A family fun event celebrating all things wonderful about Northern Wairarapa including food, flowers, produce and beverage producers.

Martinborough Music Festival
Fri 29 - Sun 31 October

A fun, family friendly country show each spring including traditional country show events like equestrian displays, dog trials, livestock competitions, and shearing.

Carterton Farmers Market Annual Plant Sale
Sunday 31 October, 9am - 12.30pm
Shop for a diverse range of plants, including vege seedlings, flowering shrubs, sub-tropical fruits, native plants, exotic trees, obscure rarities and much more, plus all the usual fresh, locally grown fruit and veg, honey, olive oil and crafts.
