Visa Wellington on a Plate: 1-31 Oct - Wairarapa restaurants, chefs, vineyards and cafes feature every year. 

Cobblestones Greytown Family Fun Farm Day: Sat 3 - Family Fun Farm Day. See baby farm animals including lambs and chickens. See how the early settlers celebrated spring. Beautiful locally grown flowers from Van Der Put Flowers of Greytown with gorgeous Victorian posies and other flowers to buy.
Gates open 10am activities from 11am until 3pm. 

Music Martinborough: Sun 4 -  Two chamber music concerts in Martinborough at 11am and 5pm on the same day. 

Celebrate Space week: Sun 4 - Hear a short talk from Haritina Mogoșanu of the New Zealand Astrobiology Network, followed by a showing of Apollo 13. Hosted by Carterton District Library, Under the Stars, NZ Astrobiology Network and Carterton Events Centre. This event is free but you must register with Eventfinda 2pm – 5.30pm.

Drag Races: Sat 10-Sun 11 - Test & Tune at Masterton Motorplex International Drag Strip.   

Yarns in Barns: 8-18 Oct - The Wairarapa Festival of Reading, featuring Chelsea Winter, Monique Fiso, Jim Bolger, Hinemoa Elder and many more. 

Spring Fling at Le Grá Vineyard: Sun 18th Meet local producers, sample their wares and celebrate spring at this fun family-friendly event. 

Jimmy Page Anthology by Hedleys Books: 8 Oct-8 Dec - A mini exhibition of rock music related books and prints.

Cobblestones Museum Greytown : Sat 25 - Country Village Fair.

Mangatainoka Motors Show and Shine Day 25 October - 2 Wheels Day - 9.30am - 4pm Think two wheels are better than four? Come and check out the line up.

Pūkaha Wairarapa Garden Tour: Sat 7-Sun 8 - A self-drive garden tour showcasing Wairarapa gardens. 

Drag Races: Sat 7 - Sun 8 - Full Competition Meeting – All Classes – Featuring Outlaw 71.

Scarecrow Big Day Out: Sat 14 -  A country fair at Gladstone School and Scarecrows on display throughout Gladstone. 

Toast Martinborough: Sun 15 - CANCELLED - Toast Martinborough has pushed pause for 2020 and are coming back bigger and better for 2021.

WAI Running Festival: Sun 22 - WAI NOT Family fun day in Greytown.
