Wairarapa's Summer of Cycling
Wairarapa is the perfect place to get on your bike and we're celebrating with a series of biking events for all levels of riders.
Take your pick of these fabulous events coming up:
Tour of Wairarapa
A scenic rural fun ride beginning and ending in Masterton with four different courses - 50km, 90km and 115km plus a new 119km “Wairarapa Hard Man” course of 40 percent gravel and 1600m of hills.
Sunday 11 November
Mountain bike 3-Stage Mini Enduro
A three stage race featuring Boulderdash (2km), Barney Rubble (3km) and Blackberry lane (2km). Check Trailforks for a basic outline of the trails and their grades.
Rivenrock Mountainbike Park
Saturday 1 December
Summer Biathlon Series
Organised by Wairarapa Multi-sports Club. Get fit for summer and take part over nine weeks - either as an individual or a team. 5km run followed by a 20km road cycle. Meet at 5.45pm at Men’s Shed, Henley Lake, Masterton.

Pedal for Parkinsons
Ride over private land along on the stunning Wairarapa East Coast for this popular fun ride raising funds for Parkinson NZ. Riders can take their time and mountain bike 64km from Pahaoa to Ngawi.

Martinborough Skyline Challenge
Enjoy stunning autumn views over Martinborough and choose your challenge, by either completing the Grade 3, 32 km course across hilly terrain, the less challenging 16km course or the easier 8km ride for novices. There is also a 3km introductory ride for children under 8-years old.
