Wairarapa Racing Club
The Wairarapa Racing Club was officially formed in 1864, and shifted to its location at Tauherenikau, just north of Featherston in 1874. The site provides one of the most picturesque environments for a horse racing club in New Zealand. The Wairarapa horse racing calendar features a series of fun family picnic style horse races.
