Visa Wellington On a Plate
WOAP, is New Zealand's annual culinary festival held in August every year. It's the ultimate food festival, bringing together a variety of ingredients that combine to create a culinary programme to satisfy all appetites!
Wairarapa restaurants, chefs, vineyards and cafes feature in WOAP every year with special menus, events and classes - and tickets often sell out!
The first two weeks of this year's Festival (from 1-16 August) are a chance for restaurants to showcase their own unique dishes - and during this time you'll be able to try their Festival Dish.
Then it's time for Burger Wellington, a two-week celebration (from 17-31 August) of the humble burger.
Enjoy Festival Events and Festival Cocktails through the whole month of August.
