Kawakawa Station Walk
Our three-day walk is one of the Wairarapa’s best-kept secrets and is the absolute best way to explore Kawakawa Station. A spectacular landscape with ancient native bush, 360 coastal views and crystal clear rivers in the core of a Dark Sky Reserve.
About
Kawakawa Station is one of the oldest sheep and beef stations in South Wairarapa located at Cape Palliser which is the southernmost tip of the North Island and home to the famous Cape Palliser lighthouse. Kawakawa Station 3 Day Walk is a bucket list experience and we would love to host you and your family and friends. The walk takes you on a journey around the Station where you will experience diverse landscapes including mountain and coastal views, ancient native bush with an abundance of bird life, clear rivers to take a dip in and incredible night skies. Our walk is fully catered, you just need to bring your drinks which we will have chilled for you when you reach your unique accommodations each night and we even transport your bags.
