A unique partnership of six New Zealand banks is trialling a new approach to providing banking services in small regional communities. Banking Hubs are being trialled in four small towns for 12 months and Martinborough is one of these towns. The Banking Hub is based at the Martinborough isite in the Waihinga Centre.
The Hubs provide basic banking services and feature a Smart ATM, support staff and online and technology support. The Smart ATM provides for cash deposits and withdrawals, and other basic transactions are available on tablets and by phone, with staff to assist. Locals and businesses will be able to use the hub to deposit their takings in both notes and coins. They will also be able to use the tablets and phones to pay bills and talk to their bank about financial matters. The participating banks are Kiwibank, BNZ, TSB, ANZ, ASB and Westpac.

The Martinborough isite Visitor Information Centre team can book InterCity bus services, Interislander and Bluebridge ferries and scenic trains.
