Reid + Reid craft distillery in Martinborough was founded by brothers Stew and Chris Reid, with backgrounds in engineering and beverage production, who decided to challenge the perception of a "classic" gin and promote New Zealand's unique natural flora. After a two-year mission foraging the landscapes of NZ for aromatic native plants that best compliment a classic dry gin, the brothers settled on Kawakawa, Manuka and Horopito, making their quintessential New Zealand gin, Reid + Reid Native Gin.
