The Greytown Woodside Trail is a scenic 5km walking and cycling track connecting Greytown's quieter streets to the nearest train station at Woodside.
About
The wide limestone pathway weaves through an avenue of mature oak trees with views of the Tararua Range and Gladstone Hills. The walking trail is also suitable for bikes, prams and wheelchairs and provides easy access to a cycleway that runs from Udy Street in Greytown to the Waiohine River.
Dogs are welcome as long as they're on a leash.
Location
The Woodside end of the trail starts from the Woodside Railway Station, and the Greytown end of the trail starts on Cotter Street.
