About
Let us take you on an impressively scenic route to the southern coast through idyllic countryside. We start with a coffee at the Land Girl Cafe in Pirinoa (or in Martinborough if the Land Girl isn't open). Once we get to the coast you will pass through the unique fishing village of Ngawi, stop to see the seal colony and then carry on to the iconic Cape Palliser Lighthouse. Walk up the 253 steps if you are able to get the best view of the southern tip of the North Island. We will stop for lunch at the historic Lake Ferry Hotel renowned for it's fresh fish and chips and a glass of wine or beer. To complete the tour you will enjoy a wine tasting at a Martinborough vineyard, usually Palliser Estate.
