About
The mature trees and curated pathways at Rototāwai allow visitors to enjoy the park and grounds. The gardens and gallery are accessed down an 800 metre oak lined driveway. Rototāwai incorporates frontage to the Lake and the house which is surrounded by 8 hectares of magnificent and historic trees. The Rototāwai private art collection is housed in the house and hung in the main rooms on the ground floor. A new contemporary gallery compliments Anna Bidwill's permanent art collection. The collection is recognised as a significant group of works by established contemporary New Zealand artists. Visiting is by appointment.
