Your visit begins with a 15-minute audio-visual presentation that explains how Stonehenge Aotearoa works – from its astronomical alignments to the cultural stories behind its construction. Armed with a detailed map, you’ll then step into the stone circle to discover the alignments, shadows, and design that connect earth and sky. Allow approximately 40 minutes for your self-guided experience. Tours are available Wednesday to Sunday, 10am – 4pm. Perfect for families, schools & day trips: Enjoy a relaxing, educational experience suitable for visitors of all ages.
