The Pūkaha Wairarapa Garden Tour returns on 21–22 November 2026, with 12 exceptional gardens to explore across South Wairarapa.
Wander through grand country estates, hidden private gardens and colourful spring landscapes that are rarely open to the public. This year's tour includes the first-ever opportunity to visit the stunning Fernside Historic House & Garden and Rotōtawai, two of the region's most significant historic estates. A guided tour of Rototāwai Rototāwai is an extraordinary eight-hectare historic estate making its Wairarapa Garden Tour debut, and for those who want to discover more of its story, garden designer Ross Palmer will lead a limited number of one-hour guided tours on Saturday 21 November.
