With more than 3,500 flowering lavender plants, Lavender Abbey is like a slice of Provence in Carterton!

Annual ‘Pick Your Own Lavender’ days, held each December and January, see visitors from all over New Zealand come to pick a bunch, take photos among the lavender rows, and enjoy the incredible, fresh lavender aroma.

Lavender Abbey also operate their ‘The Big Box of Lavender shop’ all year round, where you can buy health and wellness products made from some of the worlds freshest, most fragrant boutique lavender.  The farm shop is open Saturday & Sunday 10am - 3pm most weekends.
