Wairarapa Music in the Country is a three-day weekend from 9-11 January jam-packed with musical talent, bringing some of New Zealand's finest country artists to the Tauherenikau Racing and Event Centre.

Keep your eye out for this fantastic weekend of Country Music in the Wairarapa, held at picturesque Tauherenikau Racecourse over three days from 9-11 January 2026.
The biggest line-up yet with 25 acts including Shaun Preston, Dan Cosgrove, Denis August, Doug Brooks, Jo Emett & Gavin Pene and Adam McGrath – The Eastern and many more.
The festival also features a host of family-friendly activities from line-dancing classes to oversized games like Connect Four, Hoopla, Jenga, and Noughts and Crosses.
