From 17-21January 2018, come and see some of the world's best road cyclists in action in the New Zealand Cycle Classic and join in the fun of Huri Huri, the region's bike festival.

The 2018 stages are still to be confirmed but here's a taster from the 2017 NZ Cycle Classic's five action-packed days:

Stage One - Sunday 22 January 2017
Masterton to Castlepoint - a spectacular finish to the day's racing, with the iconic beach and lighthouse finish as a backdrop

Stage Two - Monday 23 January 2017
Admiral Hill finish - the Queen Stage or hardest stage has a fun public area at the finish line

Stage Three - Tuesday 24 January 2017
Masterton to Martinborough - nine laps of Martinborough to finish gives plenty of trackside viewing opportunities

Stage Four - Wednesday 25 January 2017
The Five Towns finishing in Martinborough - straight down SH2 from Masterton with the excitement of energised towns and sprint stages in Carterton and Greytown

Stage Five - Thursday 26 January 2017
10 laps of a 12km circuit - starting and finishing at Mitre 10 Mega, Masterton gives everyone a chance to see the riders and how the race unfolds
