Best Sunday Ever - Toast Martinborough

Toast Martinborough wished to celebrate Martinborough's wines with visitors to the event in fitting style, without any complications or risk. So, given that so much is still uncertain, they've have made the call to cancel this year's event. Toast Martinborough has pushed pause for 2020 and are coming back bigger and better for 2021.

NZ’s Legendary Wairarapa  wine and food festival Toast Martinborough a back on Sunday 15 November 2020 and promises to be the Best Sunday Ever.

Get ready to eat, drink and be entertained by some of the country's top culinary and  musical talent. Toast has a magic that’s delighted people from around New Zealand and the world for 28 years. It allows people to talk to the wine-makers, taste new releases or locate older vintages. 

At Toast you have the freedom to travel around vineyards on foot or via free Tranzit shuttle buses. Each vineyard is partnered with a great restaurant and musicians to create an atmosphere where you can sip, taste, dance and be happy. 

At the end of the day enjoy a festival party under the trees in the town square with live music.

Get tickets
You can get your tickets to from the Toast Martinborough website - but be quick as they are selling fast!  You can also book your ticket and transport at the Masterton or Martinborough i-SITE Visitor Centre. 

Travel by bus
You can buy a return Tranzit bus ticket from Wairarapa, Wellington or Palmerston North to Toast Martinborough here at the same time you buy your Toast tickets here, or buy bus tickets separately on the Tranzit website here. For any inquiries contact Tranzit directly 0800 471 227. Talk to them about chartering a bus if you're coming in a group. Learn more about getting to and from Toast by bus here. Travel by train
You can travel to Toast by public train from Wellington, with Tranzit buses transporting you from Featherston Station to Martinborough Town Square, and return again at the end of the day. Tickets can only be purchased from Wellington Train Station on the day. Learn more about getting to and from Toast by train here.

Book a Tent at Tauherenikau

All new this year is a Bookatent package - you choose from a 2, 3 or 4 person tent complete with Toast tickets, shuttle transfers, a BBQ meal, airbeds and stretchers - you choose what you need.
