The best booksellers in the Wairarapa join together with a Wairarapa wide Bookshop Hop each year in Spring.
Collect an official Bookshop Hop map from any of the participating stores, receive a stamp on your map for each purchase during the Hop and go in the grand prize draw to win bookshop vouchers.
One of the (many) great things about Wairarapa is our 13 fantastic bookshops all within an easy 30 minute drive of one another, so it's entirely possible to hop around all 13 bookshops in a single day, or take two days if you prefer!
A real pager turner when it was first held in 2022, it was created by organiser Millie Blackwell of Mrs Blackwell's Village Bookshop in Greytown and inspired by an event in California where knitting stores get together for a Yarn Store Hop every spring.
