Yarns in Barns

Yarns in Barns

Every two years Yarns in Barns, a regionwide literary festival, brings some of New Zealand’s best writers, poets and storytellers together to the Wairarapa. Celebrating books and storytelling with a country twist.

This year Yarns is being held 10-18th October 2020 and tickets are on sale now.

Events are held in various locations Wairarapa-wide, from a yarn in an iconic woolshed, to poetry at Gladstone Vineyard, literary gatherings at Hedleys Bookshop, Masterton Library, Aratoi and the Carterton Courthouse, among others.

Take a look at the full programme.
