Molewood Orchard is home of the Greytown Apple Harvest Festival that takes place every April on the Molewood Meadows – two large green spaces set amongst the orchard that are perfect for picnics, letting the kids run free or just relaxing.
The festival is loads of fun for families with stalls, food trucks, cider-tasting, apple cakes, games, toffee apples, pony rides and much more!
Molewood Orchard is also open for picking every weekend until early June, where you'll be able pick your own fresh pears as well as apples, then enjoy the fruits of your labour on Molewood Meadows.
Molewood Orchard have been growing apples and pears in Greytown for more than 30 years, sending their fruit across the country and around the world. Now focused on supporting a local market, Molewood Orchard is cared for and run by Ed Cooke, his son Wendell, and their families.
