Taking their cues from nature and the Language of Flowers, The Social Scent Company offer creative, social and relaxing candle making and wreath making workshops based on floriography, as well as a beautiful, bespoke event styling service, including weddings.
Workshops
The Social Scent Company provide all the equipment and materials for a two-hour candle or wreath making workshop - an ideal Hens party, birthday party or friends get-together activity, with light refreshments added. Workshops can be held at a venue of your choice in the Greater Wellington, Kāpiti and Wairarapa regions, or you can attend a workshop held in their beautiful garden setting in Martinborough, walking distance from the village square and on the main route to visit various wineries pre or post the workshop.
The Social Scent Company also sell a signature range of scented natural soy wax candles and hanging wax melts. These are made to order with love and care and infused with floral scents that each have a symbolic meaning originating from the Language of Flowers. Check out the range here.
Additionally, they offer a candle subscription service where you can receive a stylish medium tin candle each month, featuring one of the social scent company's signature fragrances in either a black or brushed gold tin that comes with a lid.
Wedding Styling
New for 2023, The Social Scent Company are offering an event styling service, including weddings, across the greater Wellington region (including Wairarapa and Kāpiti). They collaborate with engaged couples to plan memorable and beautiful weddings and their approach is to curate warm and inviting celebrations. This can include wedding table set up, floral wreath and candle arrangements, bespoke hand drawn floriography invites, name cards, seating maps, vows and order of service programme. They also sell dried flower confetti.
