Pukaha Mount Bruce is NZ's most established and successful wildlife and captive breeding centre. Set in 942 hectares of ancient podocarp forest only 18 minutes from Masterton, Pukaha is home to many endangered species including the takahe, kokako, kaka and our national icon, the kiwi. It is also home to the Manukura, the little white kiwi.

Martinborough Manor is a 6 acre working farmlet and orchard situated on the outskirts of Martinborough wine village, right next to the Martinborough Golf Course. It is the home to Martinborough Manner, crafters of fine jams and preserves for the New Zealand market. We have lots of animals for you to feed and pet as you wander around our orchard farm. Hear how lots of them are actually working for their living as part of the Martinborough Manner team. All our animals are very tame and most love to eat from your hand. In season you can milk a cow or a goat.
For a wonderful animal experience, take a 1.5 hour guided interactive alpaca farm tour where you'll discover the amazing alpaca. Meet our mums and their babies,and the majestic males. Alpacas are very gentle, so you'll be able to get up close and personal to our friendly alpacas! Take an alpaca for a walk! Discover a little about alpacas and the Wairarapa connection to their arrival in N.Z, and then to the western world. See a unique NZ designed alpaca shearing table and chat about how shearing alpacas is different to shearing sheep.
For millennia people have gazed in awe at Stonehenge and other great stone circles, often totally unaware of how these structures were used. Now a full-scale working adaptation of Stonehenge has been built right here in Aotearoa, allowing all New Zealanders to experience the wonders of stone circles for themselves.
